Easy Baked Salmon is one of the easiest recipes to prepare quickly, if you are seeking a meal with high protein content and healthy fats.
Hi Rabbiters! Today, we will share a very quick and easy baked salmon recipe with you, so that you won’t have to think about what to cook after a long and tiring day. This recipe is perfect because it requires only few basic ingredients, and the result gives you tender, delicious salmon fillets.
What is Easy Baked Salmon?
Salmon is one of the most popular fish species in the world. It has a pink color and it is fast to cook. Because frying increases the calories taken, and salmon is already high in fat, we prefer baking it in oven. Marination is very important to get tender and delicious salmon fillets as a result. We claimed that this recipe is very easy to prepare, so we used only few ingredients to keep it quick and simple. You need only olive oil, juice of a lemon, and salt. That’s all!
How to Prepare?
Firstly, start with preparing the marinade. Half cup of olive oil, juice of one lemon, and a teaspoon of salt will be enough. You can add any spices you desire. We didn’t use spices to keep it as simple as possible.

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, juice of lemon, and salt. Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets and let them marinate for at least 2 hours. If you do not have time, 30 minutes is not recommended but will be also enough.

After the marination, put a baking paper on a large bakingware. Place the salmon fillets on paper, and pour a bit of the marinade over them.

Set your oven to 200°C (400°F) and place the bakeware inside. Cooking time can vary depending on the oven. In our oven, it took 30 minutes for salmon fillets to get a nice, golden color. Also, thickness of the fillets can also effect the cooking time. Our fillets were thick, as you can see.

Once you are convinced that salmons are ready, set them aside and let them rest for 5 minutes before you eat. You can serve them with a slice of onion, roasted vegetables, or a fresh green salad. Until next time, stay healthy, fit and keep coloring your plates folks!
