Bulgur Pilaf: We added Bulgur Pilaf as the main source of carbohydrates in this bowl since it has lower glycemic index, higher fibers and nutrients compared to Turkish White Rice.

Homemade Meatballs: For protein, we chose Homemade Meatballs. We baked them in oven to reduce calories taken. We believe that you will love the combination of bulgur pilaf and homemade meatballs!

Red Cabbage Salad: Prepared with sour red cabbage, which is also called kebab shop salad, this Red Cabbage Salad matches very well with bulgur pilaf and homemade meatballs by adding a fresh and a bit of a sour taste into the bowl. In the original recipe, we use only lettuce and red cabbage, but in this bowl, we also added some carrots and cucumbers into the salad for adding more flavor and color.

How to Make Meatball Bowl?
